This week, Fitness expert Kris Germain and the Unofficial, Official Hype Man of CrossFit 310, Will Jones, welcome Mike Roth to the show.
Mike Roth (Rothy) is the T.V. Director for the CrossFit Games. When you flip on ESPN or CBS, you are watching the show that he orchestrates. In 2011 he was invited to work with the CrossFit Games media crew and afterward swore he would never return. Then in 2012 he was invited back but told, "You need to CrossFit because you need to understand the suffering." Mike's whole world changed after that. He has been the TV Director of the Games ever since, and the CrossFit Games are bigger than ever. It is a global phenomenon. Five and a half years later, Mike defines family and culture different than he ever had before. He's fifty years old and cannot wait to connect with as many people as he can, in as many gyms as he can. All because he showed up at a CrossFit gym and joined a class, just like the rest of us.
